Thursday dinners are a cherished part of the SCSS social calendar, bringing together participants, Support Workers, family, and friends for a night of connection, laughter, and great food.
SCSS owners, Danny and Britt, along with many dedicated staff, regularly attend, staying engaged with participants and reinforcing the importance of social interaction and community involvement.
Each week, we visit a different local restaurant or club around Cooroy, Boreen Point and Tewantin, giving everyone the opportunity to explore new cuisines and enjoy fresh experiences.
The excitement begins early in the week as participants eagerly chat about the delicious food they’re looking forward to trying. These dinners are more than just a fun night out—they play a vital role in building confidence, boosting morale, strengthening social connections, and creating meaningful shared experiences.
