It was a true Aussie summer’s day we chose to celebrate our great country and the area that we live. We pay respect to the Kabi Kabi people, custodians of the land in Cootharaba. Our participants, support workers and family enjoyed a true aussie bbq of sausages and hamburgers. ‘M’ is one of our star participants who cooked the food to perfection, which was enjoyed by all. For desert, who can go past a good ol lamington. Thong throwing and the egg and spoon race were all on the agenda, however as the weather reached 36 degrees, and a stormed loomed on the horizon, it was decided to save these games for another day.
