Louis Ianella – Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
I am a passionate and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with a unique perspective on disability, having grown up with deaf parents. This personal experience shaped my deep understanding of the challenges and strengths of individuals with disabilities and fostered a lifelong commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
I specialise in supporting individuals who display behaviours of concern or harm by focusing on improving their quality of life. My approach involves addressing underlying needs, teaching replacement behaviours, and implementing proactive, preventative strategies. Beginning my journey as a Support Worker, I developed a strong foundation in person-centred care and practical experience working with individuals with diverse needs.
